Offering Compassionate, Results-Driven Care for Challenging Dog Behaviour
At Jay Leads Ltd, we specialise in dog behaviour and psychology, focusing on rehabilitating aggressive and out-of-control dogs. Our work goes beyond basic training—we rarely take on cases involving simple obedience issues. Instead, we dedicate our expertise to helping dogs with severe behavioural problems, ensuring they can live harmoniously with their owners. We also collaborate with various charities, Vets and Dog Groomers. Working tirelessly to prevent dogs from being put down by preparing them for their new homes.
Many people struggle with even the simplest aspects of dog ownership, such as walking their dog without being pulled down the street. It’s all too common to see dogs barking uncontrollably at others, small dogs lunging at larger ones, or owners insisting their dog is "friendly" despite having no recall. These issues may seem overwhelming, but they are incredibly common and, more importantly, fixable. With the right approach, training, and guidance, we can address these behaviours and transform the way you and your dog experience the world together.
A Dog Behaviourist is someone who works with dogs to challenge and modify unwanted behaviours and help owners learn and understand how and why this behaviour appears. Behaviours such as: Aggression, Reactivity, Barking and growling and howling, Anxieties, fear and phobias, Extreme,
Hyper behaviour, Destructive behaviour
Difference between Dog Trainer and Dog Behaviourist?
A dog trainer focuses on basic training and general behaviours while a dog behaviourist deals with aggression, reactivities and serious behaviour problems. They both assist dogs in adjusting to their surroundings, although a Behaviourist has a more long-term positive resolution.
Our services cater to various budgets, ensuring that all dogs, regardless of their background, receive the help they need. Every case we take on is about making life easier for owners while prioritising the well-being of the dog. We believe that fewer dogs should end up in shelters simply because of behavioural issues. Dogs are family, and no one should feel forced to give up on a loved one when solutions exist.
If you're struggling with your dog’s behaviour, we’re here to help. Get in touch with us today to find out how we can support you and your dog on the path to a better life together.
